The Wallace Collection Centenary

Completed November 2000
A Heritage Lottery Fund Project for new museum and exhibition spaces to display the entire collection including a glazed courtyard with new facilities. Full basement excavations provide space for galleries, education and archive rooms, a lecture theatre, library and staff support facilities. The central courtyard has a lightweight glazed roof to create a vibrant café restaurant and sculpture court.
