Thornbury Ave, Isleworth
Planning Permission obtained July 2009

Thornbury Ave is a residential development for a house and 3 flats on a small private road in west London. Whilst remaining sympathetic in scale to the neighbouring 1970s buildings, the architecture is contemporary with a mix of old and new materials of brick, timber clad walls, glass balustrades and a zinc roof. Natural light floods in deep from the roof light shafts and a central atrium. The south facing rear facade is fully glazed to exploit views of the playing fields beyond whilst its sliding timber shutters make a playful facade.
